Ingredients for Veg Momos Filling

  • Cabbage – 1 cup (finely chopped)
  • Carrot – ½ cup (grated)
  • Shimla Mirch – ½ cup (finely chopped)
  • Soyabadi – ½ cup (boiled & finely chopped)
  • Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)
  • Ginger-Garlic – 1 tbsp (finely chopped or paste)
  • Kali Mirch Powder – ½ tsp
  • Soya Sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar – 1 tsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Green Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)

Ingredients for Momos Dough

  • Maida – 2 cups
  • Salt – ½ tsp
  • Water – as required

How to Make Veg Momos (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

  • Ek bowl me maida aur salt milayein.
  • Thoda-thoda pani dal kar soft dough guth lein.
  • Dough ko cover karke 20–25 minutes ke liye rest den.

Step 2: Prepare the Momos Filling

  • Pan me oil garam karein.
  • Ginger-garlic aur onion dal kar halka sa saute karein.
  • Ab soyabadi, cabbage, carrot aur shimla mirch add karein.
  • High flame par 2–3 minute tak bhunein.
  • Soya sauce, vinegar, salt aur kali mirch dal kar mix karein.
  • Gas band karke green coriander leaves milayein.

Step 3: Shape the Momos

  • Dough ki chhoti-chhoti balls bana lein.
  • Har ball ko patla gol bel lein.
  • Beech me 1 tbsp stuffing rakhein.
  • Fold karke momos ka shape de dein. 

Step 4: Steam the Momos

  • Steamer me momos ko oil laga kar rakhein.
  • 10–12 minute tak steam karein
  • Jab momos glossy ho jayein to ready hain.

  • Tomato – 2 medium (roughly chopped)
  • Dry Red Chilli – 6–7 (hot pani me bhigi hui)
  • Ginger – 1 inch piece
  • Garlic – 6–7 cloves
  • Kali Mirch – ½ tsp
  • Corn Flour – 1 tsp
  • Soya Sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar – 1 tsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Oil – 1 tbsp

How to Make Momos Chutney

Step 1: Prepare Chilli Paste


  • Soaked red chilli, tomato, ginger aur garlic ko mixer me grind karein.
  • Smooth paste bana lein.

Step 2: Cook the Chutney

  • Pan me oil garam karein.
  • Paste dal kar medium flame par pakayein.
  • Salt, kali mirch, soya sauce aur vinegar add karein.
  • Corn flour ko thode pani me ghol kar chutney me milayein.
  • 2–3 minute pakayein jab tak chutney thick na ho jaye.

Step 3: Cool & Serve

  • Gas band karein aur chutney thandi hone dein.
  • Veg momos ke sath serve karein.
