Ingredients (Samagri)
- Basmati Rice – 1 cup
- Moog Daal – 1/2 cup
- Water – 1/2 cup (soaking ke liye)
- Oil – 6 tbsp
- Grated Ginger – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tbsp
- Cumin Powder – 1 tbsp
- Mustard Oil – 1 tbsb
- Tej Patta – 2
- Cinnamon – 1 piece
- Cloves – 2
- Whole Red Chilli – 2
- Cumin Seeds – 1 tbsp
- Grated Coconut – 2 tbsp
- Tomato – 1 ( chopped)
- Potato – 1 (peeled & chopped)
- Cauliflower – 8-10 florets
- Green Chilli – 1 (slit)
- Hot Water – 1/2 to 1 litre
- Green Peas – 1/2 cup
- Sugar – 2 tbsp
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Salt – as per taste
🌿 Masala Powder Ke Liye
- Green Cardamom – 3
- Cinnamon – 1
- Black Cardamom – 4
- Cloves – 5
🍲 Method|Bhogar Khichdi Kaise Banaayein
- Sabse pahle masala powder ke sabhi ingredients ko dry roast karke grind kar lein.
- Rice aur moong daal ko dhokar pani me bhigo kar rakh dein.
- Ek pan me moong daal ko 2 minute tak halka bhun lein aur nikal lein.
- Usi pan me rice ko bhi 2 minute dry roast karke alag rakh dein.
- Ab pan me oil garam karein, ginger bhune, phir haldi aur jeera powder milayein.
- Dusare pan me mustard oil garam karein, tej patta, lal mirch, dalchini, laung aur jeera bhunei.
- Isme grated coconut daal kar 2 minute bhunein, phir tomato daal kar pakayein.
- Ab kadhai me oil garam karke roasted daal, rice, hari mirch, namak aut garam pani daal dein.
- Dhak kar 5 minute pakayen.
- Ab tomato-coconut masala, sabziyan, matar aur sugar milayein.
- 1/2 litre garam pani aur masala powder dal kar, dhak kar 15 minute pakayein.
- Ant me uper se ghee dal kar serve karein.

Serving Suggestion
Bhogar khichdi ko Labra, Benguni, Tomato chutney ya papad ke sath serve karein.
